About

Who is behind this.

One person, one small account, in public. I’m just some kid who was raised in the Bay Area, where expectations were low, and trading was foreign to most. I’ve carried strategy ideas around for years without the ability to build them properly — the coding moat was real, and a half-built backtest is how people fool themselves. This strategy lived in that gap for nearly three years.

From idea to evidence

Then the tools changed. I know there are real downsides to AI and I won’t pretend otherwise — but for me, personally, it unlocked the ninety percent of my brain that had always been sealed behind the keyboard. The ideas took the years; what fell was the wall between imagining a test and running it honestly, and nearly everything I could think but never execute finally got its trial. The graveyard is what came through that wall: one hundred and eighty-seven strategies built properly, tested properly, and killed properly, most of them things sold elsewhere as courses.

The public record

This is the one that lived. It runs with real money — a few thousand dollars, not a fund — with the record published nightly whether it is up or down, and it is the first thing I’ve built that I’m genuinely happy to share. Do not take my word for how long that record is: it is dated, it is on the live record page, and it is short until it is not. If the account size makes you trust it less, that is the correct reaction and I would rather you check than be told. Questions go to support@10ktrials.com and reach a human.

The company. Algomist Labs is a business name of 10,000 Trials, a sole proprietorship in Vallejo, California, registered in September 2026; that is why support mail comes from a 10ktrials address. Its research work is the ledger on the research page: hypotheses, screens, and what they found, with the limits printed. One person, one account, no fund.
